About Us

OUR STORY

In the heart of Essex County, two dedicated fathers, Clark Machemer and Adam Harrington, shared an unwavering dream: to build a basketball facility where their children and the entire community could thrive through the sport of basketball and the joy of being active. United by their passion for the game and a desire to provide a safe and inclusive space for youngsters and professionals to hone their skills, they set out to find the perfect location within 15 minutes of their homes in Glen Ridge, NJ.

Their dedication paid off, and the thriving basketball center soon stood as a beacon of opportunity. It became a hub where kids could practice, compete, and form lasting friendships while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all. Clark and Adam's vision had not only strengthened their bond with their kids but had also woven an even tighter fabric of unity within the entire community.

OUR LOGO

The Clubhouse logo beautifully encapsulates our belief that those who are rooted and planted in our community will undoubtedly flourish. Just as a strong tree establishes its roots in the soil before it can bear fruit, our club is a nurturing ground for personal growth and development. The intertwining tree roots in our logo symbolize the connections and support that members provide to one another. It signifies that when individuals invest in their relationships with the community, they, like thriving plants, will grow and prosper. Our logo reminds us that by staying connected and committed, everyone can reach their fullest potential and flourish together in this nurturing environment.

Our gym's location in Orange, NJ, holds a special significance, and that's beautifully depicted in our logo—a flourishing orange tree. The tree with five oranges on the left represents Clark's family, while the six oranges on the right symbolize Adam's family, showcasing the strong roots of our founders and their commitment to family and community. We proudly call it "The Clubhouse" because it's more than just a gym; it's a place where parents can come together, hang out, form connections, and watch their kids flourish.
